Baby water turtles

Exotic Pets
The goal here was to build a tank to hold several baby aquatic Turtles so we are using a 20 gallon long tank (30 x 12 x 13) but you can use what ever size tank is appropriate for your turtle.

The turtles have several needs and clean water is one of them. You want to have as much water as the tank will hold, while still allowing for a place for the turtles to get out of the water to bask under the light.

To make a natural looking tank, I siliconed plastic half logs made for reptile tanks, right to the glass close to the top of the tank, leaving just enough room for the turtles to climb up to dry off.

This photo shows a ten gallon tank on its side while the silicone dries.
