 We got this photo at an autograph session and Mr. Benoit probably never even heard of us. We don't actually have any celebrity endorsement yet but my son is proud of the photo. We need some famous people to photograph for the celebrity section of the photo library. If you know anyone famous... But seriously. What we REALLY need is a building to care for and exhibit the animals that people can no longer care for. The volume of animals that find themselves in need of a home would require a building larger than we would be able to start out with, without major funding. Being with out a central public location makes it harder to get support. We need some legal help with finding an incentive for a property owner with an unoccupied building to offer the use to an animal rescue. Attorneys, accountants and people with fund raising skills that need to do community service are welcome to contact us. We don't really like just asking for donations. We know that the animals that find themselves in our care can not compete with cute puppies and kittens for that donation dollar. We are developing a "supporting membership package" that we hope people will find attractive enough to participate in. There will be more about that here in the near future. At this time we don't need any help with animal care unless you can adopt an adult iguana. Sometimes we need help at public events or transporting cages so if you want to get involved e-mail us or call 203-235-0543 for more info. Providing an easy way for people to send money, isn't the same as asking. I save things that are cute once in awhile. Here is that link again.
