Is this thing killing Honeybees?

I have photographed this insect a few times. The first time I saw it, it was probing around a flower with a tongue like thing. However, on two occasions I have found them seemingly feeding on a dead honeybee and a fly.
I don't know what it is called. I called it Devil bug.
Not that I am suggesting its bad.

That bee is WAY bigger than it though. So if it did kill it, it is pretty tough.

Maybe it just found it and was taking advantage of a free meal.

I just wonder if a sick bee, would just lay right out in the open on a flower if they knew these things were around.

If any scientist write in with the real name, I will put it in here somewhere.

If it turns out I discovered it, and scientist already have a name for the beautiful little creature that I named the "Lennon Leaf hopper" then I will name this one after John, just because he deserves something else named after him.

Then I hope a few thousand of them crawl into the ear of the loser that shot him...
