America

This photo is of a young bald eagle. It looks kind of scruffy because it doesn’t have the pure white feathers of an adult. But to me, it looks strong, yet weary, like it had been in a battle. To me, it represents the spirit of how this country feels right now. It gives me a chance to express my feelings about what is going on in this country and the rest of the world.

I would like to dedicate it, to the people who lost their lives on 9-11, as well as the family and friends who miss them.

To the brave men and women of the American and British coalition forces who died liberating Iraq and those who continue to fight to try to keep it free.

Saddam is convicted and sentenced to hang.

Bin laden is hiding in a cave somewhere or maybe he is dead.

All of the killing now is being blamed on US being there.
Maybe it is time to park all the trucks out in the desert and bring our people home.

Tell the Iraqi army that they can keep everything we leave.

If they want to let any angry mobs have a big bon-fire, they can do that too.

If they don't want us ever to come back, all they have to do is, stop blowing each other up.
Assure them that anyone there that WAS our friend, is now a rich American.

No one left to hate.

Be sure that they know, that if they cut anyone elses head off, they will pretty much PROVE that President Bush was right.

It might be a good idea to start handing out Beatle and Paul McCartney/John Lennnon CD's to the younger Iraqi people.

Both the present and former Presidents of the Soviet Union have credited their music as having an influence in the fall of communism.

No one ever cut off someones head while humminmg "Let it be"

Make sure "Give peace a chance" is in the playlist.

Sometimes we need a reminder that no matter how fierce the eagle may look, it never fights with out cause.

The photo on this page is scanned at a resolution of 300dpi. It looks good on a monitor, but will lose quality if printed full page. I would like every American who likes this photograph to be able to print and display it, in memory of those we lost.

Click on the link below for the 1200dpi scan. The Image will appear very large. If you set your printer to high quality and use glossy photo paper, you can print full page at photo quality. After you save it, use the "back button" to get back to the main page.

The easiest way to save the image, is to create a folder on your desk top and right click on the larger image to "save as" and save it to the folder on your desk top. You will need some kind of software that allows you to work with graphics, to print it.

If you don’t have a printer, you can save it on a CD and have it printed at any Kodak Picture Maker machine.
